Release successor Windows Vista

Some network edition confirmed that the earliest Windows code 7, previously known by the code names Blackcomb and Vienna have already handed over "key" partners in the form of so-called "Milestone 1" (M1) for the purpose of validation code. According to the new roadmapu (from the English. Roadmap), we obtained edited, output OS is scheduled for the second half of next year.

Despite the fact that earlier it was said that 7 debuted in Windows 2010, Microsoft revised its Lansing, and moved the release date for a few months: the date of dispatch code on gold now is the second half of 2009. Microsoft, as can be expected, refused to comment on the estimated date of release.

Current M1-assembling partners can be found only in English and presented in the editorial offices of two: x86 and x64. Among the interesting features of M1 is perhaps the opportunity to work with called heterogeneous (mixed) graphics system, consisting of various graphics cards manufacturers. Also in the new version includes M1 Media Center.

If Microsoft udatsya complete Windows code 7 in the second half of 2009, today Microsoft will have to seriously sweat. M2 release is scheduled for April / May 2008, M3 - for the third quarter of this year. Date of release beta and release candidate as long as there are "subject to further definition, but it is clear that the first beta will be no earlier than one year.

Most of clarity as to when we will be able to see Windows 7, will be introduced as soon as Microsoft announces programme for Windows Logo Program Changes for Windows 7. Under current policies, such changes will be announced during the 18 months prior to the RTM.

To date, known not so much information about Windows and 7 functions, which will have the next version of Windows. So far, only aware that the Windows 7 great attention will be paid to the touch-screen interface interaction. The most intriguing looks MinWin, leaner core system, which is scheduled to be occupied by no more than 40 MB of memory.
