You follow the news or a TV serial on Windows Media Center while attending to other tasks on the PC. It's annoying that open windows often hide the TV screen when they are opened or moved.

Start Windows Media Center.
Navigate your way to the 'Tasks' menu in the main menu of the 'Start' window with the [Up] and [Down] cursor keys.

Then click on 'Settings', 'General' and 'Start and display behavior' tabs.

Click the check box in front of the 'Windows Media Centre window always on top' option in the following window and then click on 'Save' on the left.
