Sometimes it is so fast that you need to reinstall Windows from scratch, and the right hand does not drivers. Wheels are already sold, given to friends, lost a floppy disk - or simply formatted overwritten.
In this case, it makes sense to use the method below. The essence is to use its already established as a source of Windows drivers.
Thus, the method to reinstall Windows if there are no drivers:
-- boot as usual (for the last time!) in the system perestavlyaemuyu
-- rename the Program Files folder, say in Progs.old
-- rename the Windows folder, say in Win.old (if not produced in Explorer to do in the command line)
-- (!), double-click Ctrl Alt Delete to reboot (Windows no longer existed and the ordinary - order to complete its work could not be)Repeated clicking on buttons and may tire if a lot of drivers, but there really nothing Explore. If you are installing Windows unsuccessful or any other problems, you can return to the old system: as described above, to rename the newly installed system, say in Win.new and Prog.new
Double-click Ctrl Alt Delete, reload, in command-line mode rename Win.old back to Windows
reload again, and then in the mode of Win32 rename Prog.old in Program Files (long file name!)
When all the configuration work performed and need of the old (new) system unnecessary, it can remove fear. Those drivers that are installed in the new system, were sklonirovany successfully, and now to its source has not had any relations.
The only reminder of that trick - in the path HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ InstallLocationsMRU. If someone embarrasses :-), this branch to be cleaned. Thus created a system in the next reshuffle may also serve as a source driver, forming process of recycling spent Windows.
Repeatedly tested in practice
A method described only one drawback - free disk space should be sufficient to install a new system. It can be greatly reduced, if not rename the Program Files folder, simply delete it. From Windows also can be left only System, System32, and Help Inf. Naturally, in this case, a return to the previous system will be impossible.
Note:
"Old" and "new" system may not coincide. For example, the old can be 95 - first, and the new 98 - first, and vice versa. Windows Millennium, too, can be reinstall this way, although the difference versions of DOS (in previous versions 7.x and 8.0 for ME) can create some problems.
