Representatives of Microsoft reported that on Monday, February 12, the company will officially present Windows Mobile 6, previously known as "Crossbow". The release will take place during the 3GSM exhibition, which will be held in Barcelona.

However, the first devices based on the new mobile version of Windows not wait before mid-spring. Most of the devices based on the new Windows Mobile should appear in the second half of the year.

Among the obvious changes compared with previous versions of OS is the new search capabilities: as in Windows Vista, is you just typing the first few letters of the title song, contact name or topic of email, OS immediately show all the matches. Windows Mobile 6 also received support for sending an HTML e-mail messages. Windows Mobile 6 has been supported rapid messaging service through Windows Live and accounts, which will instantly send a message to a contact, as well as allow the transfer of messages from Hotmail or Windows Live Mail directly to the mobile device.
