1. Click on the Mouse icon. The Mouse Properties window appears. The options available depend on the mouse manufacturer, but some of the settings are standard.
2. On the Buttons tab, there are three standard options¬Button configuration, Double-click speed, and ClickLock. The Button Configuration section is where the mouse buttons can be reversed for left-handed people.
3. Adjust the Double-click speed and test it using test folder located in the right window of this section.
4. Reset the Double-click speed setting to its original configuration. Refer to the answer in the previous question.
5. The ClickLock setting is so to make you can select an option and drag the mouse without holding the left mouse button down. Once a click is made for more than a second, the button locks and the icon can be dragged. When a second click is made, the mouse unlocks.
6. The mouse troubleshooter and driver is accessed through the Hardware tab. Click on the Hardware tab. Click on the Troubleshoot button. The Mouse Troubleshooter window appears. Close the Mouse Troubleshooter.
7. Access the Mouse control panel's Hardware tab. Click on the Properties button.
8. Click on the Driver tab. Just like with the keyboard, the Update Driver button is used to load a new mouse driver.
9. Click on the Cancel button twice to return to the Printers and Other Hardware control panel category. Click on the Back button to return to the control panel categories.
