• Windows 2000 Professional - It is recommended for c9mputer which acts as client or workstation.

• Windows 2000 Server - It meant for a computer that acts like server and manages network connections, users, and printing tasks.

• Windows 2000 Advanced Server - It is meant for organizations which has its own network and uses SOL for database related activities.

• Windows 2000 Datacenter Server - It is meant for such organizations which have large databases and required real time processing.
