Novell NetWare is a network operating system that initially used cooperative multitasking to run various services on a computer system. NetWare developed by using very simple concept and it employee both network server and network client application. The client application can be run on the client operating system and server application can be accessed from this client operating system.
Novell Netware common services are:
• File services:
Novell Netware file server is the part of the NOS database which provides a single point logon for users. It also allow administrator and users to view network resources in the same way. Through the internet all the networks in the word are interconnected. Netware allow users to view files from any network without any difficulty by using iFolder provides the access files, backup files and applications from anywhere using the tools.
• Security services:
Novell Netware security services provide confirmation of the user's identity using password, user name, time and account restriction.
• Printing services:
Novell Netware provides the printing services that help users to take print from any printer from anywhere in the word but they must have rights to access that printer. Novell Netware uses iPrint as its default print environment.
• Massaging services:
Novell Netware allow user to send a short message to group as well as to individuals on the network. Its user wish that he/she want to receive messages or not and user can disable or enable the reception of messages.
