Thread: Creating a User Account

Follow these steps to create new user account in window server 2003

1. Click on the Start button and place mouse-pointer over Programs. In program's list, place the mouse¬pointer over Administrative Tool. A sub-menu appears. Click over the Active Directory Users and Computers.

2. The Active Directory Users and Computers dialog box appears. Right-click over the domain to add the user and then choose New User from the shortcut menu.

3. A New Object -User dialog appears. Type the user's first name, middle name and last name.



4. Under User logon name option, type name for logging and click over the Next button.

5. New Object-User re-appears with instructions for password. Type the password twice and click over check the box beside the User must change password at next logon option. Click over the Next button.

6. Verify the information and click over the Finish button. Incase you want to make some changes then click over Back button.
