Thread: Setting Account Polices

The following steps lets change the account policies,

1. Log on as an administrator.

2. Click on Start button and place mouse-pointer over Programs option. In list of programs, place mouse-pointer over Administrative Tools. A sub-menu appears. Click over the Domain Security Policies option.

3. A Domain Security Policies dialog box will appear. Click on Account polices button.



4. The Account Polices dialog box appears. Click on the Password Polices and then double-click on the Minimum Password Age Policy.

5. The Minimum Password Age Properties dialog box appears. Set the value to 42 and click over the OK button.

6. Repeat the steps 4 through 6 for any other policies that you want to change.

7. Close the Group Policy Object Editor.
