I work for a company that refurbishes laptops and i have a lenovo 3000 v100 that i am trying to load windows xp on. The system reads the 80 gb sata hdd in the system bios but when i pop in the xp cd it goes threw the hardware config inspection and gets to the point that i have to hit enter to continue once i hit enter i get a message from windows telling me there is no hdd instead of a selction to creat a partion. Does anyone have any information on this could it be a bad hdd? Any help is greatly aperciated Thank you in advance for any responses.
