Thread: On the double-Click (XP)

The Alt and Ctrl keys can be used to modify what happens when you double-click on a folder. Holding down the Alt key while double-clicking opens the Properties Window, which can be used to change the icon used for the folder and the Thumbnails view. Using the Ctrl or Shift keys while double¬clicking opens the folder in a new window. The Shift key opens the window with the Folders view open in the left-hand Explorer bar.
