Thread: Better drive letters (XP and Vista)

If you have a memory card reader you may find it uses drive letters that would be better suited to an external drive. To change the drive letters around click Start, right-click on My Computer (or Computer in Vista) and select Manage. Click on Disk Management, right-click on a disk and select Change Drive Letter and Paths. Click on the Change button and select a new drive letter. You will need to change the card reader first as Windows will only offer drive letters that are not currently in use.
