Thread: View hidden music file information (XP)

Many digital music files contain lots of information. Vista displays much of this information prominently and XP can be set to show it too. Right-click a music file, choose Properties then click the Summary tab - a whole list of information, including the album and artist names should appear. Ifnot look for a button marked Advanced and click this. If the Advanced view show no information, the file may not have any information hidden inside. If viewing a folder full of music files, click the V,iew menu and choose Details to see key items of information about each one.
