You might have to check the Confliction with TSR or other running program. If you are receiving any runtime error message when you are using Windows so make sure that the subject is not being caused due to this and by a third-party program or TSR also end tasking all the open programs.
After doing the end tasking all the TSR’s then continue to practice the same issue and the running of Windows 95 or Windows 98, confirm that no value or program is being loaded in the autoexec.bat / config.sys which is causing you this issue by changing the name of the file for short term. In order to follow the above explanation follow the below given information.

    1. First Boot to a MS-DOS quickly.

    2. Once the MS-DOS is opened, type:

    cd\ <press enter>
    ren autoexec.bat autoexec.ch <press enter>
    ren config.sys config.ch <press enter>

Once completed doing it, then reboot the computer.

    Hi

I am not sure but than also just verify with the Software issue. If the issue persists then it is likely that the program, value or game which is resulting the runtime error can also have these issues. Prove it through the developer’s web that will update and may be available for downloaded and applied.

If there are no patches or updates on the software, then try to uninstall it and then reinstall the program also the problem which is causing the issue. After doing all the above and still receives a runtime errors then reinstall the operating system in your computer.

    Hi

See also the Add-on, plugin, or other extra software the use of extra software which is been installed in the computer and which is related Most of the runtime errors are also held because of the add-on, plug-in of others or else by to the error generating program. If the extra software is resulting in the error then check that there are no updates available for this program and uninstall it and verify it.

    Hi

There can also be a Memory problem, At the last you have undergone all of the above measures then it is possible that you may be having a problem in hardware / memory. We suggest you that you first make contact with the developer of the program resulting the issue for any kind of possible solutions. If no solution to the problem is found, then contact the computer or motherboard producer about this for additional service.
