Default Problem with memory and motherboard pc400

Hello to all, not exactly what happened but if it as a step and no longer do that. Just trying to add more memory to the pc that "if it worked at first," the first thing I did was remove the memory of 256 MB memory DIMM slot 2 and insert the 128 MB modules in slots for DDR memory and the monitor said the signal was out of range after the withdrawal and add 256 MB to your site and add a 128 MB (2 DIMM are), and it worked but then disconnect the drives (HD, CD and DVD) and connect began to emerge again in the monitor signal that is out of range, it also immediately before the screen where you can access the BIOS, but now it sounds just the floppy and then a beep and repeat the same thing without showing anything on screen, I assemble all the BIOS and restart the pc but nothing is no longer only have to do- Basic computer and use a manual for setting all the jumpers on the motherboard.

I do not have another motherboard to test as the same components.

The problem arose just after the Add / Remove hardware in the PC.

    Hello.

with everything you did for not less than a memory without removing the power off for example you can damage all the peripherals, change jumpers on the motherboard of position you can bring problems, fortunately comment that sounds a beep let's do something, look at this tutorial and see anything again.
