    Hello friends.

    I have a 232 cable omega usr I install my Windows XP-based PC, but when I run the installer q me a com port and what I need is to make me a new USB port.

    Hello.

    I think this is a cable adapter to USB port com. When you install the driver, the normal functioning is thus to open a COM port.

    I understand but what I need is to connect a printer has a port q com q to my computer only has USB ports, so that the cable I need to work with USB port, is it possible?

    Hello.

    What makes this cable is emulating a serial port via the USB port. Once installed the software creates a virtual serial port using the USB port.

    Have you installed the printer to see if it works?

    If you already installed and does not work, it is an Epson tm u220d-cable is already installed but the printer does not recognize the pc when I install the printer comes out to be unavailable. By FA Can I work as I pa q?
