Thread: Troubleshooting shared EFS on Windows XP

I am trying to get an EFS encrypted file which is located on a user's machine obtainable to another user also. Both the machines are in the domain form, NTFS permissions are also wide open, and all the appropriate users' EFS certificates have been imported and show up both in the "Details" windows and in the "trusted people" store. By all the accounts, the users which are added must be able to open this file, but I've also tried my luck so far for solving the problem by my self and making this happen? If any ideas on how to proceed with troubleshooting this issue most welcomed?

I tried restarting the remote host previously to no effect. Possibly there was some AD imitation needed to occur? Anyway, when I rebooted both the computer after I got your reply and it seems to work fine.
