I was having fun with my animated cursors (.ani) on my computer (Win XP SP3) desktop. I can found out that the one which I desire to edit, but wasn’t having any programs installed to do the so. I have got a hold of one and installed it but now the behavior in Windows Explorer has also altered. Recently I had a program which was connected with the .ani files; I might see the first frame in the .ani file in Explorer when viewing as an Icon (I assume Tile and Thumbnail worked, as well) but now I can see it is the icon for the program .ani is well linked with it. I can still right click and go to properties to see a full, animated preview, but that's much slower than what I had before. Is there a way to inform the Explorer about to display first the frame in the .ani file as the icon the way it used to? I suppose that messing with the registry will be essential and I'm fine with those activities?

Thanks in advance!
