Thread: Change Name???

When I was setting up my friend’s computer I loaded XP professional, with his name in the computer. Now the entire cookies are bearing his name on them and that he didn't desire to be. Is there any kind of solution to change the Admin. The name also stops the computer. I noticed that you can't change the Admin. Name. Is there any way to sort this problem out and can someone let me know about it.

Create a new administrator account in the computer. Then make your friend name from admin --> user account.

You might also rename the computer from the System Properties Menu with right clicking on it, and you might create a new administrator account and then remove the old name from the administrator.
