Default OTF (OpenType Fonts) Not Working in XP x64?, OTF Opentype fonts x64 xp

    Hi everyone,

There is a huge problem which I can't seem to get much data on wacko.gif. Just to create a new rig which is running XP x64 with the latest drivers and the updates, specs are given below. The installed of otf's (openType fonts) and have also attempted 2 dissimilar kind of managers (Extensis Suitcase and FontAgent Pro 4) to get my fonts to make them active but they are not activating.
This results me in checking the windows font folder and I observed that any OTF in the folder was not displaying up in my applications (photoshop etc). So I doubled click on the fonts and I am receiving a "the requested file /path to font/ was not a valid font file" message. I have installed the fonts straightly from my CD so I know that the fonts are valid in the computer. Merely all the thing that I have been able to find online is that it could be a graphics driver problem. I am running the most recent version of ATI catalyst drivers 8.12. Of note I also have 8 gigs of memory.
    Specs:
    Gigabyte Ep45-UD3P Motherboard
    MSI ATI Radeon HD3850 512MB
Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q9300
    8gb PC2-8500 (DDR2-1066) OCZ Reaper Memory

    Default

It will need a registry twist that appears to be the only fix. Observe that this works for both Nvidia and the ATI video cards.
    Open the registry editor (regedit)
    Steer towards the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\Memory Management
Add a new REG_DWORD entry called Session Image Size with a value i.e. decimal of 20 in it.
