Thread: XP Upgrade Stop Error

I am attempting to install Win XP pro containing of Me on my PC. All was working fine, the pc re-set then stop error:
0x0000007b 0xf898563c 0xc0000034 0x00000000 0x00000000
I have also attempted it for hours to get past this but with no luck. Help would be most appreciated.

Hey dude I too had the same problem but I had a Virus in my computer and I got p4p800se Asus same blue screen. Anyways to fix it is easy you’re going to have to lose your data. First find your Windows Xp CD put it in drive. Then Next start rebooting your PC and hit F8 on start up. Next decide your Disk Drive. Next then hit the spacebar you see the Setup Screen. Once you see that is tapping the R button. It will lead you to next step and then give you the files you need. If it stops before 100% just reboot your comp and it should work. I had a Virus in a file on the desktop and once I shut down the PC I too encountered with the same problem. Good luck hope it helps you a lot from it.
