I am receiving a message on my laptop that states me that I will require to reload windows or it might get corrupted, the screen of my laptop also remains black and the message displays every 3 or 4 minutes on my laptop?

It sounds like the black screen from the Silver light, it has been giving warning to you to receive a valid edition of XP for the last not many months, which can you boot to safe mode.
