Using of multiple monitors

I was with My TV as my secondary monitor. Gradually, I am not able to use TV as my secondary, because the Settings tab in Display properties screen do not show the two monitors. It is displaying the properties of having only one monitor (Plug and play). How can I restore the Display properties screen in my computer as it was displaying before? I am also making use of nvidia 128 Mb graphics card-P4-2.8 Ghz-512 mb ram-winxp pro?
