Thread: Just build a new PC, keyboad doesn't work past BIOS

I have recently assembled a new computer out of all the latest components (with the exception of my hard drives and my DVD drive). My new motherboard does not contains PS2 ports so I have to make use of the USB mouse and keyboard which works fine but with the prior set-up I had with the same hard drives.
The keyboard which works fine in BIOS, but once the Windows is been loaded. I then lose the power to the keyboard. I have a USB and Legacy which is enabled in the BIOS, but I did not notice anything about the enabling of a USB keyboard like some other forums suggested me.

What can I do to solve the problem?

Did you make an attempt to Install the front header USB connections, or is there any way where you have the KB connected, if you have a thumb drive connect the TD to the connection that the KB is and see if it has power, the little light that they all have, if you have the KB hooked to the rear USB try the TD there, at any rate make sure that the USB port has sufficient power supply with the windows running, I also make use of a powered USB hub so that everything that I hook up the works accurately, generally to the front port in the computer.
