Thread: Which software to be used for recovery of a deleted partition?

Hi everyone and thanks for this useful forum.

I have recently installed an XP on my system and after installing some of the softwares from my external hard drive I have noticed that something went wrong with the installation so I then tried again to reinstall the operating system. I have also forgotten to switch off my external hard drive and when windows loaded all the files and asked me where did I required to install XP and all that, both the drives emerged, my internal hard drive and the external with all my data. I was undergoing something else at the same time and I was not paying all my attention to it. So I deleted the partition of my firewire hard drive and just after I did it I realized my mistake for deleting the partition. The file system for that drive is fat32 and there was only one partition. I did not format the ext. drive, I only deleted the partition.
So my question is that, which software would be the best to recover my data which is been deleted?
Is it easy to adequate or should I have to go the specialist?
