Thread: DVD-RW Drive not recognizing blank CDs

I have a problem... my dad's Dell Dimension E310 is not identifying the blank CDs! I also tried rebooting for a few times (my girlfriend's computer too had a similar problem, and that is been fixed it on her computer), but that solution is not doing anything. The warranty of the computer has expired 2 days ago, so I can't get help from Dell unless I pay them... does anyone have an idea about what to do? Thanks!

1. which burner program are you using in the computer.
2. If you have the installation disk remove then the program in the Control Panel Add Remove Programs tab and try to reinstall it in the computer.
