Thread: XP Installation Loop

I'm currently installing a new drive, and the XP installation will not advance the beyond the "blue screen" phase. It also inspects my hardware, formats the drives, copies of the installation files, and then starts reboots to continue the installation. But every time I receive the same error message indicating that it can't find the Operating System and the reboot in the computer hangs unless I physically boot from the CD drive, but then the installation starts over from scratch.

Can you supply with the complete system specs? Is it an extra hard drive or a replacement? If an extra drive, is it configured as the boot disk?

Thanks for the reply, but I can handle to find a solution. Other posts are also referred for installing with only 1 DIMM, which appear to do the trick.
