Default Monitor Error msg: "Sync. Out of Range"

My son recently attached a Samtron 77V monitor to his HP desktop system which is running Windows XP in it. When he started booting, after a few moments he got the message stating that "Sync. Out of Range" in a box that floats on the screen. The screen background is otherwise black.

    Any idea about it?

Do we require adding up a driver or is there some other set-up matter to be considered?

The refresh rates are been set too high for the Samtron. Try to hit the power button to turn off the PC. When the power is on and press F8 to get the Windows Boot menu. Choose VGA Mode. Try the different resolutions/refresh rates. At the last reboot your computer and I make sure that it will work.
