Default TinyXP or WinXp x64, which is better for gaming?

I have a question which is been bouncing around my head. I make use to a dual boot system, and I use a WD Raptor for my gaming. I have only installed video card and sound card drivers, then games. That’s IT. I also desire for the most amount of resources which are free for my games, so which should I go with? TinyXP, which boasts to boot windows XP by using only around 40 MB of RAM and will still game! Or Windows X64 edition? What would be the benefit of my for going with winxp X64 if I only require the game and have no 64 bit games? I will also have a Core2Duo, so it is a 64 bit capable system.

well, if your system has over 4 GB of ram. You might require a 64 bit version of windows to take the full advantage of that memory. Otherwise, I can suggest you for the tinyxp, which maybe even the 64 bit version in D.

I have also heard that the XP 64 is not so good, but I am also quick enough to point out that which personally I don't know, 2 of my friends make use of Vista 64 for gaming and they love it, but I hate Vista operating system.

Try to stay away from x64-86bit XP, it is been designed only for the position in the workstation market where there is a need for a DESKTOP x64 operating system have to take the benefit of extra resources, however I would be surprised if you didn't have unsupported hardware somewhere. Vista is particularly with the SP1 which is really and generally quite good, I would also install it without a doubt for adding up the x64-86 Vista is a super fast on 4GB of RAM.
