The Status Bar which displays extra information on the elements which you have selected. This is an optional bar. In order to activate it, first go to the View menu and then click on Status Bar. On the Status bar under it you can see the number of files and the folder which contains as well as the total size of them (in KB, 1MB is 1024KB). If you select some of the files, in the status bar it will display the information of the selected objects and their total size. This is a very much useful bar since you are able to know it very quickly for the selected files which might fit on a floppy disk (a floppy disk is 1.44Mb, approximately 1474Kb).
