Thread: A Error occur while installing Symantec Anti-Virus in the Windows XP

. I'm trying to download and install Symantec Antivirus commercial edition from my college's website, and for some reason and error occur and stop the installation process and error report saying configure your system from the control panel and I am using the Windows XP with 64 bit which was not listed and so I tried in X64 bit vista it does the whole process of installation but a last it pop-up a error?

First check which operating system you are using and whether the Symantec Anti- Virus supports the operating system the error means configuring your system office art, templates, etc the error does not mean anything about it or else update your Windows and try again installing the software if you get the same error then you have to download again the whole application and check that the application is with the full installation file or you must be copying it from the program files which is not the whole installation process so check first that the Anti-Virus is supportable with Windows XP, Vista with the 128 bits or 32bits of display. The main reason even can be due to lowest bits being selected by you so please go through the specification of the software.
