Thread: How to produce Hard Disk partition

I have just recently purchased a computer and I am using Windows 7 on it because of some reason I am unable install extra hard drive an I want to install Windows XP in the same Hard drive as I have heard about it that you can create another partition in the same drive?

Before starting the Disk Management function you should log in as Admin group and click on the Start button the right hand side of the task bar and after clicking on the start button it will display numbers of option and you should select the RUN command and type in as compmgmt.msc and click on ok.
And in the dialogue box select the Disk Management the disk management tool display the graphical view and will list below certain items and you are able to see the upper and lower panes of the Windows and you have to point out from top to bottom on the view option menu and click the view you are interested to use.
Note: make sure you back-up your data before making following changes.
