Thread: Can I format hard drive without using Windows bootable CD

My brother has just purchased a new computer but now its working very slow and so he want to format the Hard Drive of the system but he doesn’t have the bootable CD can I format it without using the stuff from the C:/ drive?

I am sorry to tell you that you can’t format the Hard disk without the help of the Windows bootable CD you should buy a bootable CD from the vendor who have allotted you the system or else you can even use a flash drive to format your operating system.
