The Windows Cleanup Utility tool is intended in such a way to eliminate an application and this may be very simple if you understand the installation or setup problems. And you can try when you are going to add or uninstall a component of the application when you are trying to install or eliminate the program and you are being disabled from doing this with certain programs the cleanup utility does not do things like eliminating the windows installer or remove the files of any other applications which are installed by the windows installer.
The Windows installer will only provide an interface where you can select more than one application which are being installed by the windows and if you want to clean up any demanding software you have just select it in the product list of the cleanup dialogue box and it will remove the Windows configuration information which is related to that program.
After the selection of item you click on the remove and the tool will remove the files and also the registry setting belonging to that program and decide to reinstall the program and reinstall the program in the same folder where you had first installed and it will avoid due to duplicate files on the hard drive.
The Cleanup tool is compatible with all the 32-bit versions of the Windows which includes Vista and even the previous version of Windows 98.
