How to troubleshoot CD-ROM playback

• Attempt playing a differing CD-ROM name, which may specify whether the trouble is exact to one CD-ROM.

• Allow error alteration:

1. Open the Windows Media Player, and on the Tools menu, click on the Options.

2. On the Devices tab, click on the Properties for the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive that is being used for playback.

3. Below the Playback, and click to choose the Use error correction check box.

• Stop the SRS and also the graphic equalizer:

1. Open the Windows Media Player and after that search for the view tab and click on it and in the View menu, and click on the Now Playing Tools.

2. And choose the SRS WOW Effects as well as the Graphic Equalizer likewise.

3. And click the On/Off toggle key to the off mode.

• And confirm that the sound card drivers as well as the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive firmware are the latest.
