    Default Winlogon.exe error

I have this very unique error called 'Wlnlogon' which continuously appears on the screen until I connect to the Internet. But if I disconnect from the Internet It starts again. It takes 15-20 minutes for the PC to start, and the error Is displayed In loads of dialog boxes. My PC configuration is Windows XP SP2, 2 GB RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 CPU.

Your system could be a victim of a virus or spyware attack. Have your system thoroughly checked with an updated antivirus and antispyware tools. You can use AVG antivirus for free and for the antispyware tool, you can use Lavasoft Adaware. Then download 'HijackThis.exe' from the Internet and use it to remove any threats infecting the registry. Also make sure Windows is completely updated. In some cases, you may also need to reformat the hard drive and install Windows all over again to get rid of the virus attack. Do take backups of your data before doing so.
