To change a dynamic disk back to a basic disk:

1. First Back up all the information on all the volumes on the disk which you want to change into a basic disk.

2. And Log in as Administrator or else a member of the Administrators group.

3. And Click on the Start button which is positioned on the left side of the taskbar, and search for the Control Panel and click on it.

4. And search for the Performance and Maintenance and click on it, and again click on the Administrative Tools, and after that click two times continuously on the Computer Management.

5. And you’ll see the Disk Management on the left side and click on it.

6. Just right-click on the volume of the dynamic disk which you wish to change to a basic disk, and also click to Delete Volume.

7. And click on the Yes if you are provoked to erase the volume.

8. And repeat the steps 4 as well as 5 for every volume on the dynamic disk.

9. Later than you have eliminated all the volumes on the dynamic disk, just right-click on the dynamic disk which you feel like to alter to a basic disk, and finally click to Convert to Basic Disk.

You have to right-click the gray area that includes the disk heading on the left side of the Details pane. For instance, just right-click on the Disk 1.
