I have an HP Pavilion DV6436NR notebook. A few months ago I formatted my notebook. I forgot to create my recovery disc but I managed to install Windows Vista all over again. Now most of the features of my laptop don't work properly. Please help.

The small mistake you made was not creating the recovery disc or backing up the drivers. This disc contains the necessary programs and drivers for the hardware of your laptop. But do not worry. Here you can download all the drivers and utilities that are necessary for your laptop. Download each one and safely store them on a CD/DVD. If the rescue disc is also available, you should download it and store it for emergency purposes. After you have downloaded all the necessary drivers and utilities, install them one after the other and your laptop should be fully operational. If you are having trouble locating the necessary drivers, get in touch with the HP helpline in your city/area and they would be happy to help you out. You can also order the rescue disc from the HP website. Search for your laptop model number on the HP website and order a copy for yourself.
