Default Windows explorer CPU usage 50% when opens video folder!

Whenever I open my folder with video files win. Explorer CPU usage jump to 50% even though I didn't look at any clips! When I shut the folder CPU usage remains the similar as well as there are no open applications! Any ideas how to repair this? I am running XP SP3 with all the current updates.
