Default How to load ISUSPM.exe in WinXP

    ISUSPM.exe in WinXP

My computer is very slow and Task Manager shows agent.exe and this ISUSPM.exe running all the time.
If I stop the ISUSPM, then the agent also stops and my System Idle goes back to 98% or so. My question is: do I need this ISUSPM.exe as it is in C:\ProgramFiles\InstallShield\UpdateService. What do I remove? The update service?

System Idle Process is supposed to be in the high 90's. That's normal.
ISUSPM doesn't need to load during startup and run in the background.
If you post a HijackThis log here, I'll be glad to assist you with the startup load.
