net stop spooler
and check, whether the print queue is gone. Then open Windows Explorer and navigate to the 'C:\Windows\system32\ spool\PRINTERS' folder. There, delete all SPL files - they contain the affected print data. Now switch back to the still open command prompt. Enter the following here: net start spooler And the printing queue will start working smoothly again.
