This region shows the buttons of the programs that are presently open and pointing arrows up and down. Slightly darker button shows the program that we are currently working. By clicking the every button we find ourselves in that particular program.

If number of programs are open at the same time they grouped under a button. For example, if we have a number of windows of My Computer opened. By clicking, a window will select to open one of them. There are two black arrows help us to go through the buttons in the event that we are working with many windows and they do not all fit on the task bar.
