System Partition

The system partition refers to the disk volume having hardware related files required to boot Windows .On Intel x86-based PCs, it must be a main partition that has been marked active. On x86 PCs, this is always drive 0, the drive the system BIOS searches during system boot for the operating system.
Boot Partition

The boot partition has operating system files generally WINNT and it support files generally \WINNT\SYSTEM32. It can be equivalent partition as the system partition.
