MORE INFORMATION

If RIPrep image loaded, the Remote Installation Services Boot Information Negotiation Layer (BINL) service appears for a matching backing flat image so that the service can start. After this, it starts the network, and then copies the image to the local hard disk. The BINL service scans the Reminst\Setup\Language\Images folder alphabetically as it looks for a matching Ntoskrnl.exe file. Because WinPE images are a subset of the Windows XP files, the BINL service finds a match, and then picks this image.
