You have seen that with most default Windows installations or when you purchase a PC with Windows installed that there are sound effects for about all you do. This can obtain old after a moment; really it can obtain old rapidly.
Luckily it is simple to modify these sounds or better yet to close them so you do not have to maintain speakers turned down.
Go to Start, Settings and then Control Panel. Find icon for Sounds and Audio Devices. Double tick it and then click on Sounds tab.
Now you can notice what sounds are linked with what actions. You can highlight an action or event and hear sound connected with it, modify it to a various sound or remove sound from item. This will not remove actual sound file from PC but stop it from playing each time that type of event occurs.
In Sound scheme area you can save new sound scheme after you fine tune it. You can also set sounds scheme to none so that there are no sounds in any way.
