When you give a print job to a printer, you may have seen a message will appear from taskbar by clock saying that job has printed. You also seen that it does not vanish until you tick X in corner or switch to the other application. This message shows after installing Service Pack 2.
Here is how you stop getting Print Notification message:
1. Go to Start.
2. Go to Printers and Faxes or Settings then Printers and Faxes based on which start menu you are using.
3. Go to file menu in the Printer and Faxes window.
4. Select Server Properties.
5. Click advanced tab in Print Server Properties window.
6. Uncheck Show informational notifications for local printers to stop notification messages for printers straight attached to PC.
7. Uncheck Show informational notifications for network printers to stop notification messages for printers that are shared on network.
8. Click Ok.
9. Close Printers and Faxes Window.
At this time print notification messages will not appeared when you print.
