hi this may not be the best spot to post this and i dearly apologize but ive googled the subject alot and could not not fine a reference to this issue anywhere

i recently contracted a virus and got rid of it with couple helpful programs suggested on tech forums

how ever the virus has dmged my regestry i noticed post about fixing the APPLY BUTTON for your internet explorer in your regedit but the virus i had also disabled my APPLY BUTTON in my ms config witch as you all know is a huge problem if i were to contract another virus and needed to disable the functioni n the startup secton

i could not find a detailed instruction step bye step any where for fixing this im sure im not the only semi illiterate computer savy guy to have this issue but im sure i couldnt find an answer via google if anyone has a step bye step method i would realy apreciate it or if you could direct me to some place that does

im using windows xp season pack 3 home edition
