Thread: Unable to view folders, but they are available

I suddenly noticed that some of my folders in D:\ drive are missing. I first thought, they got deleted somehow. When I checked the properties of the parent folder, it shows 80 folders, but I see only 54 folders. I tried to show all the hidden folders. Still I was not able to see. But when I type the folder name directly in RUN command, am able to view the contents of the folder. Please advise how to get back the folders. Am using Windows XP.

Seems you are using that option for the first time....
that property is used to check the total number of folders in a folder which even includes the sub-folders within those folders...
so count you get is a folder located in the folder + subfolders of these folders general ...

Have you installed ant kind of software including tweaking software that might hide folders?
