Thread: Windows XP running extremely slow?

My computer about 2 days ago just suddenly began running veryslow. It start slow as all get out, loading the programs from system tray is very slow. When I open programs (mozila, for example) it takes about 15-20 seconds to even begin opening, then it freezes continually. This applies to every program I open. I thought that might be the problem, but the problem keep on even after clean virus scans. I defragged the drive and that didn’t help. I also used disk clean but it does not worked.

when you computer is loaded and you are on the desktop then press control/alt/delete together and see what is running that is eating resources up..

Have you give the registery a good clean?

Download reg supreme. Run it in deep mode. Clean all the virues. ou will obtain a box pop up this is for the backup of what it deletes incase you want to repair what it has done. I never had a problem with it and i have used it since it came out.
