Thread: XP hangs

i am using windows XP service pack 2.when i turn on the computer after the windows starts,only with in 7minutes three lines come on screen and the system hangs.no busy light is shown.alt+ctrl+del keys dont work.mean to say nothing works and the system helds.i want to know reason and its solution.?plz link builders try to avoid in this post thanks.

Try to scan your computer. And if it does not fix the problem then try to format your computer. It might me due to bad sectors in your hard drive.
